Jesmin Haq, Ph.D., Principal Photolithography Process Development Engineer, Western Digital

Jesmin, currently working as a Principal Photolithography Process Development Engineer at Western Digital, has extensively worked on development, scaling and implementation of new process technologies and complex process issues in the semiconductor industry.

She has over 10 years of experience as a Process and Technology Development Engineer in the industry-leader storage company Western Digital Corporation and Headway Technologies Inc. As a passionate Photolithography Engineer, with advancement of Semiconductor nodes, she is always faced with new challenges to pattern deep sub wavelength devices. 

She works with cross functional team on development, qualification and optimization of process technologies for new emerging products, on transferring new process module from development phase to mass production, on collaborating with materials suppliers and equipment vendors for assessment and selection of best product.

Jesmin has illustrious educational background. She earned her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from BUET. Then she went on to earn her Master's in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University in Indiana, and later pursued PhD in the same discipline in Arizona State University in Arizona. 

She has authored and co-authored over 10 US Patents. Jesmin also served as a lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering in BUET for over a year.

Some of her favorite leisure activities include reading, spending time with her family and visiting new places.
